Dushyant J Gosai is a local educator and a businessman.
More than 20 years ago, Dushyant moved to Florida. He bought an independent hotel which he converted into a franchised property, part of Choice Hotels International. After managing the property for many years he stepped away from the day-to-day operations and turned the management duties over to one of his partners.
Dushyant’s academic background is a blend of the educational systems in India and the United States of America. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting and a degree in Law from universities in India. After moving to the U.S. he went on to earn his MBA in Economic Crime and Fraud Management from Utica College in Utica, N.Y. and earned his Doctorate degree in Accounting from Argosy University in Tampa, Fl. He currently teaches graduate and undergraduate accounting and business courses and has done so for the past seven years.
Over 25 years ago, Dushyant married his wife, Hemani Gosai. Hemani is a pharmacist with a retail pharmacy chain. As a consultant pharmacist, she also provides her services to several physicians in the central Florida area. Together they have two children. Their daughter Palak Gosai and son Anmol Gosai are both students at the University of Central Florida working towards degrees in biomedical science.
From the day that Dushyant Gosai became a citizen of our great nation, he chose to be a proud Democrat. He strongly believes in the values that the Democratic Party stands for and knows that if we all work together we can make a real difference at every level of government.
Dushyant Gosai has the leadership experience that District 3 needs in Congress. Dushyant feels compelled to run for office because of his concern for where our country is headed. He knows that we do not need politicians who divide our country and our neighborhoods. We need elected officials that are leaders, not followers. People that are willing to do the hard work of governing with the needs of their constituents first and foremost, not wealthy donors and corporations.
